International Day of Education is observed on January 24, 2024 and the theme is “Learning for Lasting Peace.”
At FFTP (Guy) Inc., we believe in transforming communities and empowering learners with the knowledge, values, attitudes, skills, and behaviors necessary to break the cycle of poverty and become agents of peace in their communities.
FFTP (Guy) Inc. places strong emphasis on education. In 2023 we commissioned a library at Lusignan Primary School, Lusignan Village, East Coast Demerara. This project was able to benefit a total of 612 students as they had access to a brand-new library complete with new books, computers, audio/visual technology etc.
