FFP (Guy) Inc. through our Angel of Hope Program commenced Back to School Support Initiative

Food for the Poor (Guy) Inc. commenced distributing school supplies as part of our Back to School Support Initiative through our Angels of Hope Program and this initiative is expected to impact one hundred and fifty (150) children from the different homes with the basic necessities needed for school.

Each child received a seventeen-inch backpack which contained an assortment of colored pencils, five #2 pencils, one box of crayons, one ruler, two yellow highlighter markers, three ballpoint black ink pens, two spiral notebooks, two erasers, one children’s scissors, one pencil sharpener, one pencil bag, and two pocket letter-size folders.

Angels of Hope Coordinator, Ms. Kaleeda Crandon, stated that she is ecstatic to receive the backpacks with school supplies for the children under the program. Ms. Crandon explained that with the rising cost of living, she is confident that it will greatly assist the home in preparing the children for the upcoming school term.

Caregiver of the Hauraruni Girls Home, Ms. Karen Roberts, said, “I would like to say thank you to FFTP (Guy) Inc. and Angels of Hope for giving us these backpacks.” “School will be reopening soon, and this donation will prove to be beneficial for the children.”

Bless The Children Home Coordinator, Mr. Horace Legall, shared that his home is excited to receive these items as they will have a positive impact on the lives of the children when they return to school.

Ms. Mahadai Samichand, Administrator of Hope Children Home, expressed her pride in witnessing the excitement on the children’s faces as they received their backpacks. “These children deserve all the good things that are coming their way.” “I am so happy that FFTP (Guy) Inc. can bring smiles to their faces.”

The children were very grateful and expressed their gratitude to FFTP (Guy) Inc. and Angels of Hope for the supplies, as they will make their lives easier when school reopens.
