Food For the Poor (Guy) Inc recently donated a number of medical supplies to the Festival City Health Centre. The simple ceremony was held at FFTP (Guy) Inc.’s office .
The items donated were one (1) freezer, eighteen (18) boxes of Liquid IV, twenty (20) boxes of digital thermometers, five (5) boxes of hypodermic needles, five (5) boxes of injection needles, one (1) neck massager, twenty (20) boxes of pulse oximeters, five (5) boxes of specimen collection (child swabs), five (5) boxes of saline flush syringes, and twenty (20) boxes of thermometer sheaths.
At the simple ceremony, receiving the items on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer of the Georgetown Public Hospital was Dr. Persaud, who thanked FFTP (Guy) Inc. for the donation. He explained that items donated will be further used to improve patient care at the Festival City Health Centre. Dr. Persaud also said, “The fridge will go a far way in sourcing and storing insulin, along with other medications for chronic disease patients and other patients who access care at the facility. So, thank you very much for the donation,” Dr. Persaud posited.
FFTP (Guy) Inc. continues to support the medical sector with various donations being made to the Ministry of Public Health, health centers, and regional hospitals across the country.
